Earth Day Sculptures Introduction

The Heartland All Species Project is a leader in developing Environmental Education that combines arts and sciences into neighborhood and school Earth Days that build a sustainable community.These dynamic “recycling” sculptures, conceived and designed by HASP, and built by the community, became the centerpieces of Kansas City's regional Earth Day celebrations between 1989 and 1992.
