For 1991, Heartland All Species Project produced this Energy Independence sculpture. With the Gulf War in the news, we made a positive statement about a better way to collect energy. People are running through the wire, providing the juice for the system. Participants from the All Species Parade filled the sun with pulsing red and yellow color. Milk jugs make up the light bulb; aluminum and tin cans, the collector.
