EcoKids Report #14

Juggling and Mime Work February 13, 1999

On February 13 we met at the Dream Center. Richard Renner, Clown, came to perform and show the kids some performance skills. We juggled and learned some mime tricks.

We did an exercise of mirroring faces, working in pairs. One person modeled the other like a clay puppet with the model-ee holding what ever position the model-or left them in. The last bit of modeling was done when the model-or made a face. The model-ee was to hold the expression that was on model-or's face.

I was glad to see some rapport building skills being emphasized.

Thanks to volunteer, Joel Kraft.

And a special thanks to Richard Renner, a former 49/63 resident and a very funny man who made us laugh. Richard Renner is a professional clown and can be reached through Vodvill Entertainment Company at 913/648-0011.
