Here he's invented a tool for moving along faster. He also invented a street to go with it. You can see that he is not a part of his environment any more. He is going through the environment from one place he likes to another. The rest of the environment has been bulldozed out of the way. He doesn't think about it either. It's hard for him to see what's going on because he's moving so fast.
