Invitation to Harvest Wheat and Bake Bread

| The Whole Process 6/21/03 You are invited to join our youth program as we travel to a farm near Edgerton Kansas where we will harvest wheat. We will thresh it and grind it into flower and bake bread. We might even churn some butter to put on it if someone knows that part. The bread baking will be at Rockhurst Community center at 54th and Troost. Lee, our farmer friend, estimated that the wheat will be ready for harvest in about a week and a half. Since we don't know the exact day we will have to let you know when it is decided. We will email you as soon as we know. Kids of all ages welcome and that includes you. Marty Kraft 816-361-1230 |
