Cob Foundation

clay pit volunteers working
The blue and white area to the left is the clay pit where clay is mixed with water. The polyethylene covering helps us heat the mixture so its warm on the feet. In the forground and to the right is the foundation for the cob shed. Corn stalks in our three sisters garden can be seen at left.

Here is our first section of cob wall as of 10/3/03. Left to right are Bill McKelvey, Jessica, Justin and Marty. More to come. Come by and see the progress.
