: On July 4, 1992 as Director of the Creative Arts Center at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, I rolled out my first All-Species Parade. I hadn't heard of your organization, but the concept & mission were identical: To give people the experience of Playing together with a most serious intent-to raise ourselves out of enviornmental despair by joining together to lend our voices to the species of the Earth which cannot speak for themselves in our Media-driven cultural enviornment. Equally important, this activity builds community, empowers individuals & groups, & brings joy & delight into our lives, which are too often overshadowed by the negativity of the mass media. The All-Species Parade is arguably the most fun you can have standing up, & could become a significant force for social change.

: I approached my project as an artist, & as such the masks received my special attention! I developed techniques for making absolutely spectacular masks quickly & cheaply. We went far beyond simple face-coverings. I thought I had invented the All-Species Parade, & always wondered thru the years how to propagate the idea, especially nationwide/worldwide! These days, I Iive in Lagunitas, Calif, & am studying computer art. I was most happy to find your website & would like to contribute everything I learned in the spirit of the "Give-Away."
